Q: We do a large amount of web-based sales. Is there a way to import these web-based sales directly into QB so that we can create invoices and packing slips without having to input the data manually from the web into QB?
A: Since Quickbooks has become so dominant in the Small Business Accounting arena, many website shopping carts have a way for you to export your transactions in a way that Quickbooks can ready easily (as an .IIF file). If this is not the case, because of the volume of the transactions, you may need a third-party converter (such as the one created by Big Red Consulting).
